Our Philosophy
Hinamon Studios specializes in all types of Wedding photography. We know how to capture
that unique "spirit" of the two of you on your special day together. Our team effort approach
ensures that nothing can go wrong on your wedding. One photographer concentrates on the
technical aspects of the lighting and composition while another works on the detail of your
expression, dress, and hair. We pride ourselves in giving the Bride and Groom the extra
attention you deserve with a friendly touch.
We stand behind all of our work and guarantee that you will love the images from your
wedding day.

Our Beginnings
Hinamon Studios started in the late 1990s when the owner Billy Hinamon was in college
finishing his marketing degree while emphasizing photography courses. He went on to join
the 130th Air National Guard Unit of West Virginia. There he completed an intensive 6 month
daily course in Still Photography (in Fort Mead Maryland through the Department of
Defense). He currently is one of the main photographers at the multimedia center of the
Coonskin base. He also takes an active part in continued training through professional
organizations. Some of them include:

When we began it was just Billy and his wife Bridget. Since then we have added an additional
two professional photographers to our company as well as two photographer apprentices.
During our first season, we handled only a handlful of weddings, but now we average more
than 60 each year! We assign our photographers on a first-come-first-serve basis, with Billy
Hinamon serving you as often as possible. Our additional two photographers are more than
qualified to carry our name and reputation, with the same quality guaranteed!

Our Approach
We normally create the traditional images at the alter with the entire bridal party and family
in many different poses. Occassionally Brides ask us to photograph in a Photojouralistic
Approach utilizing Black and White film in a candid and unposed nature. (Please let us know
if you are interested in that too!) Our goal is to do whatever you need in order to preserve
your fond memories of the day; in essence, to create a family heirloom that will last for
generations to come.
